My husband Tim and I exposed our children to Wisconsin’s rivers, lakes and streams from infancy. We have enjoyed them together while camping, canoeing, swimming, fishing, sailing or simply throwing a ball off the dock for our retriever.
My favorite time of the day is at sunrise when the lake is calm and beckons me to go out for a solo canoe or open water swim. We also love to watch the migrating loons or baldies who live here year-round.
