Legacy Stories

The Skotarzaks' Story

I came to Lake Beulah in the early 70’s, landing with my parents and three siblings on Millsite Road, and have been here ever since. We’ve been riparian owner for the last 20 years, and year-rounders for the last few. Supporting and working to protect Lake Beulah is a family thing—my dad served on the LBPIA board and my mom was President for a time.

Over the years and seasons, my family and kids have been blessed to take advantage of everything Lake Beulah has to offer: sailing and paddle-sports, tubing and waterskiing, swimming and fishing, boat rides galore. In the winter we hike and skate the frozen pond.

Everyone in the family agrees: the best and longest-running friendships in our lives were born at the lake.

“People sometimes ask what’s the best part? We say all of it.

A legacy worth protecting—how lucky are we?”
