I never tire of looking at Lake Beulah or swimming in it or boating on this wonderful lake. I credit my dad with creating my love affair with the lake when he and his siblings purchased a lot on Oakwood Lane in 1927, long before I was born. The cottage they built still stands today. My husband, Don, fell in love with the lake soon after we first met.
In 1987 we bought our own place on Twin Island and later Don tried his hand at sailing. Twenty-two years ago, we built our dream home on the island we call “Steingrila”. Our sons Eric and Andy (third generation, now living in Denver) joined the sailing fleet, and now our grandkids (4th generation) are loving sailing on X-boats, water fun, and all the friends they have made.
The people are wonderful here. They keep a watchful eye on the condition of the water. It is the spring-fed, clear water and fine fishing that we value so much.
“We want to preserve and protect this priceless gift of beautiful Lake Beulah for future generations.”
